
We're excited to launch our first ever Reserve Merlot! To create this premium wine, grapes were selected from the famous Black Sage Terrace vineyard in Oliver, BC. The vines were cropped low to gain concentration and to maximize structure thereby creating a grape worthy of producing a high quality wine. Fermented in a single vessel this wine underwent extended skin contact, 28 days, post-fermentation. This extended time on skins gives this wine added complexity, density and structure. Aged in French oak barrels for 25 months our 2018 Reserve Merlot remains un-filtered to retain all of the natural complexities this wine has to offer. Cellar 7 to 10 years. Decanter in its youth.
